The Writers Space Radio Hour

Gateway’s Sandra Hughes and Tom Spach produced and co-hosted this radio series – The Writers’ Space Radio Hour – for WMLB 1690 “The Voice of the Arts in Atlanta”, Georgia.

Sandra Hughes has produced, co-hosted, written and performed for radio programs for Public Radio and commercial stations. Her radio plays have been broadcast and podcast by WABE Public Radio and WMLB, Voice of the Arts in Atlanta, Georgia  and KSFR Public Radio in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Tom Spach, a USC graduate with a BA in Broadcast Journalism, enjoyed over a decade of success in all aspects of commercial radio from format design and implementation, and operations management to performing as a prime time on-air talent.  Tom’s love for the unique capabilities of radio is what brought he and Sandra Hughes together to explore and celebrate radio as an artform.
