CHRIS MOSER
Chris Moser is an independent television producer/director/writer, educator, and former news writer for CNN-USA. He is a recipient of the Governor’s Awards in the Humanities for his career achievements using media in service to that field. As a staff producer for public television station WPBA/Channel 30, Chris strengthened the station’s focus on original programming in arts and humanities, including 6 productions with Gateway Performance Productions. His Georgia Public Television documentary, The Day Atlanta Stood Still, chronicled the tragedy that led to creation of what is now Atlanta’s Woodruff Arts Center. The program won a Green Eyeshade Award in its category in the Southeastern Region and was widely seen throughout the United States via distribution by PBS-Plus.  Chris is an Assistant Professor Emeritus of Communications, Georgia State University.​As board president of Gateway Performance Productions, Chris has for many years been involved in theatrical management and performances. As president of Atlanta Area Friends of Folk Music, Chris has for decades been actively involved in local non-profit music promotion. A long-time folk music singer/musician, he leads the Atlanta-based folk trio Redwine Jam.

SANDRA HUGHES
Sandra Hughes is the Producing Artistic Director of  Gateway Performance Productions and its venue, The Mask Center, located in Atlanta. Sandra produces, hosts, writes, directs, choreographs, adapts and performs for film, television, radio and live stage.  Platforms have included Public Television –  WVIZ Channel 25 Cleveland, Ohio; PBS Akron, Ohio; WPBA Channel 30 Atlanta, Georgia – as well as cable, commercial stations and Public Radio stations  that include WABE Atlanta, Georgia; KSFR Santa Fe, New Mexico. Awards and honors include national distribution for Public Television, a Regional Emmy for “Outstanding Entertainment Program of the Year” and an American Film Institute Video Showcase with a Robert Bennett Award, 2nd place. Sandra’s original plays and performance pieces for the live stage have been performed at theaters, art centers, festivals, museums, conferences, colleges, universities and other educational and community venues in 36 states in the United States and 13 other countries. Sandra is also a teaching artist who works with at-risk, underserved and traumatized communities. For this work she’s received both an “Outstanding Partner Award and an 
“Outstanding Community Service Award” as well as the Fulton County Georgia Department of Youth and Senior Services’ “Unsung Hero Award”. Sandra is also a vetted member of the National League of American Pen Women and an associate member of the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Transformative Narratives team.  The Sandra L. Hughes Theatre Collection, housed at the Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute, documents her professional career.

TOM SPACH 
Tom Spach graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Broadcast Journalism degree. He worked for 8 years at rock and roll radio stations around the south and midwest as a Program Director, Music Director, News Director and drive time on-air talent. His passion for radio and especially radio mystery drama led him to produce and record “The New Horizons Radio Project” which explores radio as an artistic performance medium.  He co-produced and co-hosted Gateway Performances Productions’ “The Writers Space Radio Hour” (WSRH) with Sandra Hughes, on WMLB, 1690 AM “The Voice of the Arts in Atlanta”. Tom also composed music and the sound designs for The WSRH. Tom produced, hosted, composed and recorded original music and sound effects for The Final Draft and Found Sounds: Conversations Out of Context ​ written and directed by Gateway’s Sandra Hughes. These programs aired on WABE FM Public Radio Atlanta and were distributed nationally by NPR. Tom’s musical score for “Bring Me Yellow Flowers” choreographed and adapted for film by Sandra Hughes was a finalist (top 10 out of 3000+ submissions) winning 2nd place in the American Film Institute’s Robert Bennett Award competition for best feature length fine arts video.

REGGIE PRIM 
Reggie Prim works at the intersection between civic engagement and the arts. As an independent curator, neighborhood organizer, consultant, and non-profit leader, he has worked to help activate the power of the arts to bring people together across the divides of faith, ethnicity and culture. Reggie’s artistic career began as a performing artist and poet.He is a blogger, playwright and graphic designer. Reggie has led workshops, designed public arts experiences, and served on the boards of directors of a number of arts nonprofits. He co-authored Art and Civic Engagement: Mapping The Connections – a conceptual and planning model for activating the power of art in communities. Reggie worked with the City of Minneapolis as a Creative CityMaking Artist – using arts-based processes to help develop more equitable organizational culture and practice. He currently provides consulting services to Gateway Performance Productions.

MICHAEL HICKEY
Michael Hickey designs sets, costumes, creates masks and has been a principal performer for Gateway Performance Productions’ award-winning  television and radio projects, which include –   Mime Dreaming of a White Christmas, winner of a regional EMMY for “Outstanding Entertainment Program of the Year”. The program also received national distribution for Public Television. He designed and performed in Gateway’s video production, Bring Me Yellow Flowers, which was shown at the American Film Institute’s Video Showcase where it won the Robert Bennett Award (2nd Place). He worked as on-air talent for Gateway’s The Writers Space Radio Hour, 1690 AM Voice of the Arts,Atlanta. Michael along with Gateway’s Jerilynn
Bedingfield was a performing artist for the first ever motion capture animation, Rose From the Dead, choreographed by Gateway’s Sandra Hughes. 

JERILYNN BEDINGFIELD
Jerilynn is a principal performer with Gateway and choreographer who has contributed creatively to the company’s innovative and award-winning performances for the live stage, television and film. Highlights include her performances for the award-winning Bring Me Yellow Flowers and the ground-breaking motion capture animation – Rose From the Dead – both also featured Gateway artists Sandra Hughes as choreographer and Michal Hickey as a performer. 

JUDY CONDER
Judy Conder, consultant, is an established grassroots documentary filmmaker. Judy created the documentary film, Voices from the Old Fourth Ward, about the impact of the writing program for senior citizens Gateway’s Sandra Hughes established in Atlanta, Georgia’s Old 4th Ward –  the historic birthplace of the American Civil Rights Movement.

LEO ARMSTRONG
Dynamic, young and visionary, LEO  Armstrong is an independent grassroots filmmaker who as a producer, director, actor and emerging script writer is influenced by the films of Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock and Quentin Tarantino.
